Finding your Light

Depression is not a be-all or end-all. There is a light at the end of a seemingly dark and gloomy tunnel; I’ve been there and I am fighting. This blog post speaks truth and wisdom about an illness that so many people still do not understand or know how to confront or discuss with those that it affects. I am incredibly proud of Kirsty as she is proof that with enough determination, will power and positivity, anything is possible. Shine Your Light

If you suffer from depression, I can imagine that for a lot of the time you struggle to see a light at the end of the tunnel; you have been trapped in this existence for so long you donโ€™t remember what โ€˜normalityโ€™ feels like. I know because I was there. For so long there was no silver lining in sight; no light at the end of the tunnel or any light inside of myself. That had been extinguished a long time ago.
